About Joe Ross:

Joe, a 35-year veteran of the industry, has been a successful personal producer, recruiter and insurance company executive. A recipient of the Emmett J. Vaughan Insurance Scholarship, Joe attained his degree in finance and insurance from the University of Iowa and began his career as a top producer and recruiter for EF Hutton Life, subsequently joining Merrill Lynch as an insurance and annuity advisor to over 200 Financial Advisors in five Chicago area offices. Joe’s marketing and advanced sales acumen earned him the role of Vice President of Sales for Massachusetts General Life, Allied Life and Great American Life, and then as Vice President of Sales Development at Protective Life. Joe joined AIG in May of 2013 as Vice President of Sales Productivity where he continues to build on his legacy of inspiring financial advisors to make a difference in their clients’ financial lives. Recognized for his sales expertise, Joe is credited with creating innovative sales concepts for life insurance, annuities and retirement planning strategies. Widely known for his motivational presentation style, industry knowledge and sales insights, Joe is a highly regarded keynote speaker for conferences around the country. Ross’s articles and presentations have been featured in Broker World, National Underwriter, LifeHealthPro, and ThinkAdvisor.
