Please be aware that these states have adopted the updated Annuities Best Interests standards that were published June of 2020. That means the NAIC 4 hour Annuity Suitability course will no longer be enough to sell annuities in that state, and will require additional CE for annuity suitability. The agent must be compliant with the updated Annuities Best standards before selling the case.

19 States have adopted the updated standards – Annuities Best Interests– NY has its own standards.
